What are the Basic Economic Problems Explain?
Every society has some problems which they have to face. The following are the 2 x basic economic problems of every community:-
- The Problem of Choice. The basic economic problems of every society are choices. It is a problem for a producer to decide what type of product to produce to get maximum profit. Similarly, it is a challenge for the consumer to choose which types of products to satisfy his needs. So in an economic society, the choice of selection is a problem for everyone.
- Limited Resources. Other basic economic problems are limited resources. We have limited resources to meet unlimited needs. For example, water is a limited resource. In summer, the demand for water increases. But due to limited resources, it became scarce.

Reason for Basic Economic Problems
The following are the reasons for basic economic problems:-- Unlimited Human Wants. Human wants are never-ending. They are increasing day by day. For example, when we are a child, first we demanded a video game. Then we demanded a cycle and so on. Wants gradually increase but same resources. Hence as a whole society, we have unlimited wants but limited resources.
- Human Wants to Differ in Priority. Each person has different wants and needs. Their order also differs. Thus, they create problems in the economic society. An economic society cannot satisfy the needs of all people at the same time. It is the motive behind any society to fulfill the maximum wants of the people. But the priorities of unlimited needs create problems for both people and the economic society.
- Scarcity of Resources. Scarcity refers to the limitation of supply about the demand for a commodity. For example, a total of 100 books on "Microeconomics Books" are available on the market. The demand is 150 books. Therefore, in this situation, the lack of books, or resources, causes problems not only for students but also for economic society.
- Alternate Uses. It's another problem for an economic society. Resources are used in a variety of ways. For example, petrol is mainly used for vehicles. But it is also used in various generators, heavy machinery, etc. Therefore, the alternative use of a resource also causes problems for economic society.
- Resources Many Uses. Resources have multiple uses. For example, a piece of land is usually used for wheat production, buildings, playgrounds, hospitals, schools, etc. Therefore, the multiple uses of resources have also brought problems for the economic society.
