Motivational Theory of Maslow
The motivational Theory of Maslow is divided into two parts, that is Needs and Wants. These needs and Wants are subdivided into five categories/steps. Therefore this theory is also called the needs theory of Motivation:-
- Psychological Needs
- Safety Needs
- Social Needs
- Esteems Needs
- Self Actualization Needs
Psychological Needs
The first need of the motivational theory of Maslow is a psychological need. The basic needs of human life are psychological. No life can survive without psychological needs. Water, food, and shelter are examples of psychological needs.
Safety Needs
The second need in Maslow's needs theory of motivation is the need for security. These needs relate to the safety of people. In an organization, companies are all business establishments, and workers and employees who work are security-free. Another example is that we sleep freely at night because we are all safe. Therefore, it is also referred to as a security need.

Social Needs
The third need hierarchy theory of Maslow is a social need. Humans are social animals. Living alone is not possible. Social interaction is always required. Just as we have close family members, friends similarly interact with family members. Also, when we are working on a job or even studying, we need social interaction with our colleagues. Social needs are the result of interactions between people.
